Most merge tools ask you to hand your documents to a server first. That is a poor trade when the files are a signed contract, a set of invoices or medical paperwork — you are uploading them somewhere just to staple them together. DollarFix PDF does the whole merge locally: the pages are read, combined and written back out on your own machine, and nothing leaves the browser tab.

Adding files is the same action as adding pages. Open the document you want to start from, choose Add documents, and pick as many PDFs as you like — every page of every file is copied in. You can also drop in JPG or PNG images and they become pages of the same document, which is handy when a scan or a photo of a receipt belongs in the middle of a report.

The pages land where you put them, not blindly at the end: pick the insertion point first, then reorder, rotate or delete anything in the pages panel before you save. One honest note about DOCX. You can add a Word file and its text will come in as pages, but only the text — styling, tables and images from the DOCX are not reproduced. For a faithful Word conversion, export to PDF from Word first and merge that PDF instead.

Are my files uploaded to merge them?
No. The merge runs entirely inside your browser using your own machine's memory, so the documents are never transmitted to a server. You can confirm it yourself: open your browser's Network tab and watch — no upload request is made.
How many PDFs can I combine at once?
You can select several files in one go and repeat as often as you need; there is no fixed limit in the tool. Very large documents are bounded only by your device's memory, since all the work happens locally.
Can I choose the page order, or does everything go to the end?
You choose. Pick the insertion point before adding, then drag pages in the pages panel afterwards to get the exact order you want. You can also rotate or delete pages before saving.
Can I combine images into a PDF too?
Yes — JPG and PNG files can be added alongside PDFs and each becomes a page of the merged document. That covers turning photos or scans into PDF pages without a separate converter.
What about Word (DOCX) files?
